Resurgence – an undersurface river: Unveiling Ancestral Ethos and Spiritual Legacy

The rich tapestry of Buddhist traditions and historical records, alongside contemporary international scientific explorations, vividly illustrate the inseparability of our ancestors’ ethos from the noble spirit of the Scythian Sage Buddha. This historical connection underscores how the Scythians and the Huns, our forebears, significantly contributed to the development, dissemination, and preservation of humanity’s most precious treasures.

Remarkably, echoes of this profound legacy persist in our lives today. An attentive researcher can readily discern elements of the Small Vehicle, the Greater Vehicle, and the Diamond Vehicle in traditional Hungarian culture. Understanding the Teachings allows us to recognize that the Buddhist Inner Path, intertwined with Shamanistic elements, plays a vital role in our folk culture and traditions. This harmonious coexistence of Buddhist qualities with Shamanism is a prevalent phenomenon in every Buddhist country.

In ancient times, Central and Inner Asia was bordered by China to the east, India and Kashmir to the south, and the Iranian empires to the south-west, and so the ancient Scythian spirit and culture radiated a direct fertilising influence on these surrounding peoples.

The Path illuminated by the Enlightened ones can be likened to an undersurface river, flowing beneath the surface for extended periods. Yet, through the benevolence of our enlightened Tibetan teachers, this river emerges in its full glory, purity, and potency, infusing and enlightening our minds. It offers us the opportunity to tread the clear and fruitful path of enlightenment after a prolonged period of unworthy darkness. This revival brings to light the timeless wisdom and guidance, empowering us to embrace a life of enlightenment and profound spiritual awakening.
